Casa Canaria, holiday home with swimming pool and sea view in La Punta de Tijarafe, La PalmaCasa Canaria is situated in La Punta de Tijarafe and is suitable for up to 4 persons. La Punta de Tijarafe is on the sunny western side of the island and this area has pleasant climate summer and winter.
The holiday house is at 150m above sea level and is surrounded by banana plantations. Here you'll find absolute privacy and peace and quiet.
Breathtaking views up towards the mountains, over the plantations and the Atlantic Ocean and most nights you can enjoy an impressive sunset.
Owner Diego can rent you a well kept mountain bike. For the guests who would like to scuba dive, Diego can arrange an unforgettable day in the unique diving destination La Palma.
 
Casa Canaria has a living room, kitchen, 2 bedrooms and a bath room. In front of the house is a spacious covered terrace with garden furniture and an extra bathroom.
In the garden you'll find the swimming pool, a kitchen sink and the barbecue.
In the living room you'll find a comfortable sofa and a coffee table, a dining table with chairs and a cupboard.
 
There is SAT TV and a DVD player. Through the window you have a view over the banana plantation.
The kitchen is well equipped.
There is a large fridge/freezer, ceramic hob, extractor fan, oven, coffee machine, toaster and a selection of kitchen utensils.
Casa Canaria has 2 bedrooms.
One bedroom contains a double bed from 1.60m by 2.00m (5.2ft/6.6ft)and the other bedroom contains 2 single beds from 0.90m by 2.00m (3.0ft/6.6ft).

The beds have mattresses of excellent quality to help you enjoy a good nights sleep during your holiday. Both bedrooms have sea view.

Both bathrooms have a wash basin, shower, wc and bidet. In the bathroom outside is the washing machine.

Casa Canaria is surrounded by a garden where you'll find the swimming pool. The spacious terrace is covered and has garden furniture and sun beds.
The outside kitchen area has warm and cold water and a barbeque.
Through the terrace you can reach the second bathroom with shower and washing machine.

Area
Casa Canaria is about 70 minutes drive from the airport.
To the little hamlet La Punta is just a few minutes drive, there is a small Spar and a 'co-op' supermarket. In the village Tijarafe you'll find a bank, internet café, dispensing chemist, a Spar supermarket, bars and some shops. The Kiosko serves good food.
Slightly further north is the Restaurante La Muralla. Good views and good food. The autobar on the road to El Time serves good tapas.
The Tijarafe area is crisscrossed with marked walking-paths.
The nearest sandy beaches are in Tazacorte (20 min. drive) and Puerto Naos (30 min. drive). Los Llanos is the closest town with it's old streets and squares, shops and supermarkets, and the popular meeting place Plaza de España, and is about 30 minutes drive. You will find more restaurants and shops in Tazacorte or, further north, in Puntagorda where there is a market in the Mercadillo every weekend selling local products.
